Dry Branch Rottweilers

After purchasing our farm, and after years of grooming standard schnauzers for the show ring, we had a need for an easy to groom farm dog. We specifically wanted a large dog that was instinctively protective of our property and livestock, all while being family friendly and easy to live with. Through much research and talking to various breeders, we found the Rottweiler breed fit our needs. We were fortunate to connect with two small breeders in our region to purchase our dogs from. We welcomed Loki to our family in April 2022, and Freya in October 2022.

For 2022 and into 2024, we plan to let these two grow and get introduced to farm and public life through casual exposure to everything you can imagine. In the fall of 2024, we will start showing both Loki and Freya in AKC and other conformation shows, as well as complete all OFA and genetic health testing that their breed requires.

If things go as planned, we will breed for our first litter in 2025. We do not plan to breed every year, only when we have a full waiting list of people we can trust for our puppies. Happy, healthy, and forever homes are our biggest concern for the puppies we produce.
